Jeff understands trailer and customer requirements better than most and has been involved in the road transport industry for more than 34 years, beginning his career as Sales and Marketing Manager at Roadmaster.
During his time at Roadmaster, Jeff was closely involved in the design and development of small, medium and large fleet customers. This role provided him with extensive hands-on experience in vehicle design, fleet performance requirements, and real-world operational demands.
Driven by a passion for innovation and a desire for a new challenge, Jeff purchased Fruehauf NZ Limited in August 2009, becoming the sole owner in 2022. Since then, he has played an instrumental role in advancing product design and functionality across the business.
Key developments include the design of the innovative chicken trailer and significant enhancements to walking floor technology, delivering improved loading and unloading efficiency for customers. Jeff’s focus remains on practical innovation, strong teamwork, quality engineering, and ensuring Fruehauf continues to lead the industry in performance, reliability, and customer value.
